Vocal Pride Foundation, sponsor of Council Oak Mens Chorale, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization. The Foundation was given non-profit charitable organization status by the IRS on November 2, 1998.
VPF was organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, including:
- the promotion and development of choral music for mixed voices and other musical art forms through concerts, workshops and community performances;
- the education of the general public and through choral music performances to reduce prejudice and discrimination within the heterosexual community toward Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender (GLBT) persons.
The vision of the Vocal Pride Foundation is to foster communication, enhance cooperation and build bridges through performing arts in Tulsa and surrounding communities by supporting gay, lesbian and affirming arts organizations that further their creative and artistic endeavors in the community.
The Vocal Pride Foundation, of which Council Oak Mens Chorale is a registered trade name, is a fully qualified not-for profit corporation under IRS code 501(c)3. Its tax identification number is 73-1547078. As such, your generous contributions are deductible to the full extent of current tax law.
